What a great end to this amazing series。 This book had action from beginning to end and it closed off all the storylines perfectly and teased a possible continuation for our Single Vampire friend。I love Jade so much as a character， she is steadfast， strong and intelligent。 She fights for those she loves and refuses to be coddled。 I also really love how the author explains everything without it being a bore， she explains how things work in a conversational way that makes things click。Watching her What a great end to this amazing series。 This book had action from beginning to end and it closed off all the storylines perfectly and teased a possible continuation for our Single Vampire friend。I love Jade so much as a character， she is steadfast， strong and intelligent。 She fights for those she loves and refuses to be coddled。 I also really love how the author explains everything without it being a bore， she explains how things work in a conversational way that makes things click。Watching her find her happiness and accepting her new family was a lovely journey。 I loved that we got to see more from the fae kingdom in this book and I really hope this author does more for this world。I really can't wait for more from this author！ 。。。more

This series really hit the mark for its genre。 The characters were amazing。 We were able to see our new fmc grow but we also had plenty of time with some old friends too。 The story checked off all the boxes， with plenty of action， a touch of humor， some unexpected twists， and lots of romance。 I couldnt have asked for a better ending。 Jen really knows how to create an amazing story world！

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 I’d always heard that war was ugly， but I’d never understood the meaning until this very moment。 WARNING！！！ This is book 3 in The Hidden King trilogy， you will need to have read books 1（Dragon Mate） and 2（Dragon Heir） in order to understand this one。tJade’s world is tumbling down around her， and the only thing holding her together is her mate and new family。 She found clarity and control after finding her fated mate。 But she will soon learn that she has been a part of this world far lon ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 I’d always heard that war was ugly， but I’d never understood the meaning until this very moment。 WARNING！！！ This is book 3 in The Hidden King trilogy， you will need to have read books 1（Dragon Mate） and 2（Dragon Heir） in order to understand this one。tJade’s world is tumbling down around her， and the only thing holding her together is her mate and new family。 She found clarity and control after finding her fated mate。 But she will soon learn that she has been a part of this world far longer than she realized。 Add in the fact that the fae dragon king is sending different fae creatures to kill her and Egan， death and destruction follows them around every corner。 No matter what they do， it always leads to them falling into another trap。 But they refuse to back down， because there is more at stake than meets the eye。 They will do whatever it takes to protect the thunders。。。even if it kills them。 Secrets are uncovered， alliances are formed， and unfortunately， death is inevitable。 I relinquished all of my control to my dragon for the first time in my life。 Letting her flames consume my blood， I felt on the edge of combustion。 I encouraged the feeling， allowing it to grow。I trusted her a whole hell of a lot more than I did the king。 It was time to bring that bastard to his knees。 This was a fantastic end to another amazing trilogy by Jen。 Not only did Jade grow as a character， but so did Egan。 They both grew into the leaders their thunders needed， and in return grew closer in their bond。 Jade was finally able to connect with her dragon and fight to protect her people。 As much as I would love to see another character from this world get their own story， I feel like this group has been through enough😂。 A few other characters do get HEA’s in this book， so that’s enough for me。 Overall， the only thing that could have made this trilogy even better would have been to have a few chapters in Egan’s POV， but it was still great， and Egan is probably my new favorite book boy from Jen。 This series was filled with badass heroines， witty banter， and amazing friendship。 I would definitely recommend this trilogy to fans of Sassy female heroines， Alpha protective men， and unique stories jam packed with all different kinds of supernatural creatures。 What was it with asshole men？ He had to be short。 From every experience I’d had， the men dying for power suffered from short man syndrome。 It was a real condition。 I received this as a free ARC copy via the author in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

Jade and Egan have been through so much with their friends by their side in such a short time。 Jade has grown both emotionally and physically， while she is still working on her connections with people she is starting to realize how she grew up colored her view of relationships。 She's starting to go easier on Egan and has become super close with the gang but especially Sadie。 Sadie and Jade share a similar past that connects them in ways others can't experience。 Jade has also gotten to know and u Jade and Egan have been through so much with their friends by their side in such a short time。 Jade has grown both emotionally and physically， while she is still working on her connections with people she is starting to realize how she grew up colored her view of relationships。 She's starting to go easier on Egan and has become super close with the gang but especially Sadie。 Sadie and Jade share a similar past that connects them in ways others can't experience。 Jade has also gotten to know and understand her dragon better， they have connected and truly become one which means Jade can do some pretty cool stuff。 Egan is still so adorably cute with his protective， caring， thoughtfulness but he now has this lust-filled alpha edge with Jade that makes him even hotter than before if that's even possible。 Egan shows that he knows Jade even better than herself by understanding her thought process and understanding she needs a little patience when it comes to the emotional side of things。 However Jade is also supporting Egan enabling him to take charge a little more by being willing to step into battles with him as an equal。So in this book， even more supernaturals were introduced which is really interesting seeing as they are the lesser-known supes that are rarely mentioned。 Jen goes into a little detail about these supernaturals which I was surprised exists in the fae world。 Also， some new and interesting mythology was introduced， which made me so happy。 I would've loved if Jen went more into this but maybe she will in another series。 As for the fae dragon king， he is a power-hungry fool so of course there were attacks。 A few brutal battles and a few losses as well。 It seems Jade and Egan have been doing nothing but fight for their happy ending and this battle proves to be the last。 Once again my favorite thing about this series is this friend group， the whole gang is back plus a few more。 This group is absolutely amazing， the banter， jokes， bonds， and overall comradery is fantastic。 This， my friends， spans over two series， six books is something truly special that I haven't come across before， Jen has done a fantastic job with them and I don't know if any group can top them。Dragon Queen is the perfect conclusion to the Hidden King series。 The fae politics， the steam， shocking revelations that had my jaw-dropping， and friendship made for a fun read。 I loved Egan's happily ever after and I'm gonna miss the gang but am looking forward to the next story from Jen。 。。。more
